Dundee Community Youth Orchestra
Meirion is a Welsh musician and poet. He studied at Oxford before moving to the University of East Anglia to complete his MA and PhD, where he first discovered his passion for baroque and traditional music.
He currently works as a freelance music tutor, as well as performing regularly with the Staffin Island Ceilidh Band. He received a Dundee Musicians' Award in 2018 for his work with the Ceol Gallda project.
When not teaching music, he can often be found playing fiddle in local trad sessions around Dundee.
