Making music doesn't have to stop when you leave school!
Dundee Community Youth Orchestra meets for rehearsal on Thursday evenings from 6:00pm - 8:30pm

No matter long it's been since you last played your instrument, there's a place for you at DCYO

Are you 30 or younger and have left school?
Are you missing the thrill of making music and meeting like-minded people?
Did you play a musical instrument in an orchestra or band at school?
Come & Join Dundee Community Youth Orchestra
We are a musical group aimed at young adults who played an instrument at school and want to continue music-making with their peers. We are a registered charity with a small, enthusiastic board of trustees.

Most of our members hadn't picked up their instrument since they left school. We are playing a wide-ranging repertoire selected to suit our abilities. We have no auditions, and don't charge any fees.

We rehearse weekly on Thursdays - come along from 6pm, playing 6:30pm - 8:30pm, with a snack break!

Term-time rehearsals take place at Harris Academy, Perth Road, Dundee - come to the Community Entrance (around the back of the school, follow the road at the right of the building to the car park and Community Entrance. Ask for the music department.)

In the school holidays we move to the Dundee Westgait Church (Roseangle), opposite DJCAD on the Perth Road.
